Cassie Terman(images from Citizen of Trees)
is an improvisational performer, director, and teacher. She has worked extensively with Ruth Zaporah since 1991. She is a founding member of The Action Theater Ensemble, Etiquette with Linda Carr and Mary Lois Hare, and worked in Europe with inkboat. She is currently performing and teaching as part of the Live Art Evolution festival, and will be performing a solo show in August and Septemeber at 848 Community Space . Recent performance credits include: Addendum to a Day, Citizen of Trees, Transit Rider, Duets with Owen Walker, and solo improvisations at Moments Notice. Cassie has been teaching classes and workshops since 1994 throughout the U.S., at universities, festivals, and theater and dance organizations. She holds an M.F.A. in Writing and Poetics from The Naropa Institute.
