calendar and recent newsAbout my work: Trained originally as a photographer and filmmaker, over the past decade my work bridges collaborative and individual projects encompassing visual imagery, live media / interaction design, and installation-based performance and design work. Shared across these different media are explorations of data sets, memory, series, temporality, scale and physical sites, and their uncertain metaphoric extension; exploration of the complex social relationship of technology, craft and the landscape; and the intersections of live performance, the social and technology.
In my own work I strive to make technology an essential inseparable tool -- but still to be fundamentally a tool for exploration rather than a means in itself. I see the emerging role of technology as one of a fundamental democratization / opening of individual and social possibility.
